ABOUT DYLAN RYU
Dylan Ryu is a vintage art designer, makes craft art vintage bags in the name of “History by Dylan” in Seoul and Paris.
She majored in fashion design in college and worked as a fashion designer for many fashion brands including Renoma, Club Monaco and Thursday island.
After working experience in fashion companies in Seoul, she moved to New York where motivate her to make vintage art works and gives her inspiration through many different cultures.
While she lived in both New York & Paris, she wrote the articles about vintage, antique and interior for fashion magazine ‘Marie Claire’ as a freelancer editor.
Also she worked for fashion brand ‘Thursday Island’ as a design consultant and worked for art gallery ‘Seomi and Tuus’ as a jewelry buyer.
For each vintage bags, Dylan uses antique and vintage materials that she collects from antique markets in Paris, London and New York. It is specially made by adding a letter about bag’s history.
Dylan’s special art work is the one and only.
She now lives in Seoul and Paris.
